Astamudi
Astamudi Lake is situated in Kollam District, the place unites a wetland eco-system and a large spaced palm shaped water body consisting of different canals lined by coconut grooves and lagoons. Besides of lake there are small towns and villages lies on its banks. Houseboat ride is one of the best things to explore the beauty of Kerala village life. Here you can also experience the fishermen using the Chinese fishing nets to catch live fishes from the lake side.
